Pre-requisites
Must be a Bigin user.
Must have a RingCentral account.
Installation
Visit the Bigin Marketplace where you can find RingCentral SMS for Bigin.
Install the extension.
Agree to the required permissions.
Click on 'Continue'.
Select the Bigin users for whom RingCentral SMS is to be installed.
Click on Confirm.
Go to the Settings page from the Configure page of the integration.
Select the Bigin account DC.
Click on 'Accept'.
Click on 'Authorize Now' to proceed to RingCentral authorization.
Sign in to RingCentral account.
Authorize the RingCentral account.
RingCentral for Bigin has been setup.
Applications
RingCentral SMS
Go to any Bigin Contact or Deal.
Click on 'Send Messsage - RingCentral'.
Select the RingCentral Sender from the Choose Sender drop-down.
In case you wish to add additional contacts, click on 'Add Recipients'.
Here you can select the country code and enter the required contact number.
Click on 'Add' to include the number into recipients.
Search for any existing contact, to add the particular contact.
Enter a default country code.
Select the condition for the application of the default country code.
The default country settings available are as follows:
do not add country code
The default country code can be ignored using this option and can be used if all the contacts in Bigin contain a country code.
add for all phone numbers
In case the contact numbers in Bigin do not contain a country code, you can use this option to add the country code to all the phone numbers.
add if phone number starts with 0
In case some of saved contact numbers begin with 0, you can use this option to add the default country code to such numbers alone
add if phone number not starts with country code
Using the option the default country code would be added to contact numbers that do not contain a country code alone. In case the number contains a country code, the default country code will be ignored.
Enter the message to be sent or insert a template.
You can insert placeholders and emojis into the message.
Send the RingCentral SMS to the Bigin Client or Opportunity.
Bulk RingCentral SMS
Go to the Contacts or Deals module of Bigin.
Select the required contacts from the list view.
Click on 'Send Bulk Message -RingCentral'.
Select the RingCentral Sender.
Click on 'Add Recipients' to add additional contacts.
Enter the message or insert the message template.
Send the RingCentral bulk SMS.
Extension Settings
Click on the Ulgebra profile within the application.
You can now view the settings of the integration.
RingCentral SMS Tab
Select 'Open in New Tab' on the Settings page.
You would be redirected to a new tab from where you can send RingCentral SMS at any moment.
Manage RingCentral Users
The Bigin admin can allow users to use a shared RingCentral.
Select Manage App Users.
Here you can view the list of Bigin users.
Click on 'Add' to allow the user to use your authorized RingCentral account.
Click on 'Remove' to disable this feature for the user.
You can Add all and Remove all users if required.
The user added can view the invitation from the admin on the extension settings page.
Accept the invite from the admin
Select the admin account to authorize RingCentral account.
Incoming RingCentral SMS
Select 'Incoming events sync' on the settings page.
Enable 'Capture incoming messages' to receive RingCentral SMS into Bigin.
New contacts would be created for incoming messages from nonexisting customers.
You can prevent the sync of RingCentral messages from nonexisting contacts using the option 'Ignore messages from NEW customers'.
Application Analytics
Select 'App Usage Analytics'.
Here you can view the statistics of the usage of RingCentral SMS for Bigin.
Reset Application
Select 'Reset App Configurations'.
Enter 'confirm' and click on Reset.
All the data of the extension would be deleted.
RingCentral Senders
Add New Sender
Click on the Choose Sender drop-down.
Select '+Add New Sender'.
Click on the Select Sender drop-down.
Select 'SMS'.
Enter the RingCentral Sender Id.
Enter the display name for the sender.
Save the new message sender.
Default Sender
Click on the pin icon adjacent to the name of the sender.
This sender would be selected by default while sending messages.
Hide Sender
Click on the visibility icon beside the name of the sender to hide the RingCentral sender.
Delete Sender
Click on the delete icon beside the name of the sender to delete the message sender.
Message Templates
Create Message template
Click on the Insert Template drop-down.
Select '+Add New Template'.
Enter the name of the template.
Enter the message within the template.
Insert placeholders and emojis if required.
Save the new template.
Edit template
Click on the edit icon adjacent to the name of the template.
Edit the message template.
Save the edited template.
Delete Template
Click on the delete icon adjacent to the name of the template.
The message template is deleted.
