Pre-requisites
Must be an ActiveCampaign user.
Must have a MessageBird account.
Must have a WhatsApp number and approved templates from MessageBird in case of WhatsApp channel.
MessageBird has now been integrated to the ActiveCampaign account.
Installation
Install MessageBird for ActiveCampaign from the ActiveCampaign app Marketplace.
Click on the homepage URL to authorize the app.
Sign in to Ulgebra using your ActiveCampaign email id.
Firstly we have to authorize the ActiveCampaign account.
Click on the Settings icon at the panel on the left.
Select Developers to access the ActiveCampain credentials.
Enter the ActiveCampaign Domain and ActiveCampaign API Key.
Click on 'Authorize Now'.
Access the MessageBird Dashboard to obtain the access key.
Copy the Live API Key and paste it under MessageBird Live Access Key.
Authorize the MessageBird account.
ActiveCampaign Automation
Access the Automations section within ActiveCampaign.
Click on 'Create an automation'.
Select Start from Scratch.
Click on 'Continue'.
Select the trigger if required.
Select the condition for the trigger.
Under Add a New Action select CX Apps.
Select 'Ulgebra - Send MessageBird Mesage'.
We now have to add the Ulgebra account.
Under Ulgebra Account Email click on 'in this page'.
Click on your Ulgebra profile to view the Ulgebra Account email id.
Copy the email id and paste it under Ulgebra Account Email.
Click on 'this page' under Ulgebra Webhook Authtoken.
Copy the Ulgebra Auth Token.
Paste it under 'Ulgebra Webhook Authtoken'.
Click on 'Connect'.
We now have to configure the message.
Under Channel, select the MessageBird channel as WhatsApp or SMS.
Under From, enter the MessageBird WhatsApp or SMS number.
Enter the phone field containing the contact number under To.
Click on Personalize to select the required phone field.
In case the contact numbers do not contain a country code, enter the default country code.
Under 'Message' enter the content to be sent by the automation.
Insert contact fields using the Personalize option.
Under 'Attachment URL', enter the URL containing the media to be sent.
Click on Finish to add the action to send MessageBird message.
Enter the name of the automation to be created.
Click on 'Activate' to enable the automation.
Save the automation.
Applications
MessageBird Chat
Go to any ActiveCampaign Contact or Deal.
Access the MessageBird Chats panel.
Select the MessageBird sender to view the conversation from.
You can now view the history of chats held with the ActiveCampaign contacts.
Also, send MessageBird messages to the contact from the selected sender.
Click on '/' at the left side of the text box.
You can now access the message templates created.
Insert a template if required.
Send the MessageBird message.
MessageBird Inbox
Within the application, click on your Ulgebra profile.
Select MessageBird Inbox.
You would be redirected to the Inbox containing all the MessageBird conversations.
Select any conversation to view the history of chats and send messages.
View the read receipts of the messages sent as well.
Select any MessageBird channel from the Choose Sender drop-down to view the conversations held using a particular sender.
Search for any contact number to access the MessageBird conversation of a specific contact.
Also, initiate MessageBird conversations using the WhatsApp, SMS or Viber channels from the Inbox.
Message Templates
Create Templates
Click on '/' to access the message templates.
Click on '+New Template'.
Enter the name of the template.
Enter the content within the template.
Save the message template.
Edit Template
Click on the edit icon beside the template.
Make the required changes within the template.
Save the edited template.
Delete Template
Click on the delete icon beside the template.
The message template has now been deleted.
