Pre-requisites
Must be a Freshsales Suite user.
Must have an account with the desired SMS providers.
Installation
Install the AppCursor Chrome extension.
Visit the Ulgebra Apps Marketplace for Freshsales Suite.
Under Any SMS, click on 'Install Any SMS for Freshworks CRM'.
Install the Any SMS integration.
Select your desired SMS provider.
Enter the Freshsales Suite domain.
Click on your Freshsales profile and select 'Settings'.
Click on 'API Settings'.
Here you can find the Freshsales Suite API Key.
Enter the Freshsales Suite API Key.
Authorize Freshsales account.
Enter the required credentials of the selected messaging service.
Authorize the account with the SMS provider.
Any SMS has been integrated with Freshsales.
Applications
Messages to contacts
Go to any Freshsales Suite contact.
Click on the Ulgebra icon.
Select the message provider using which you wish to send messages.
Select your message sender from the Choose Sender drop-down.
You can include additional contacts using the 'Add Recipients' option.
In order to add any contact number, select the country code and enter the contact number.
Click on 'Add'.
Select any Freshsales Suite filter to add all contacts pertaining to a filter.
You can also search for a particular contact and add the contact.
Enter a default country code.
Select the settings for the application of the country code.
The settings available for default country code are as follows:
do not add country code
The default country code can be ignored using this option and can be used if all the contacts in your CRM contain a country code.
add for all phone numbers
In case the contact numbers in your CRM do not contain a country code, you can use this option to add the country code to all the phone numbers.
add if phone number starts with 0
In case some of saved contact numbers begin with 0, you can use this option to add the default country code to such numbers alone
add if phone number not starts with country code
Using the option the default country code would be added to contact numbers that do not contain a country code alone. In case the number contains a country code, the default country code will be ignored.
Enter the message or insert a message template.
Insert placeholders and emojis if required.
Send the message to Freshsales Suite contact using your desired SMS provider.
Message History
View the history of incoming and outgoing messages within each contact.
Access the Notes section.
Here you can view the details of all the messages.
Send Messages from List view
Select the required contacts.
Click on the Ulgebra icon.
Select the SMS provider.
Click on the 'Choose Sender' drop-down and select the Sender.
In order to add additional contacts, click on 'Add Recipients'.
Enter the contact number.
Click on 'Add'.
Select any Freshsales filter to add contacts.
Search for any contact to add a particular contact.
Enter the message or insert a template.
Insert emojis or placeholders.
Send the message to required contacts.
Contact Chats
Access Chat View.
You can now view the previous chats held with the contact.
Chat Inbox
Access Conversations View.
Here you can view all the conversations held using the particular sender.
Select any conversation to view the chats held with the respective contact.
Send messages from the conversation view.
You can also view the read receipts for the messages sent.
Select the Sender to view all conversations held with a particular sender.
Search for any contact number to view a specific conversation.
Real-time Notifications
View the number of latest incoming messages at the bell icon within the application.
Click on the bell icon to view the notifications.
View the unread and read messages which are differentiated for ease.
You can access the respective contact and the chats held with the contact in a new tab from each notification.
Also, view the complete chat within the application from each notification.
Send Messages using workflows
Click on the Settings icon from the panel on the left.
Select 'Manage Workflows'.
Click on Create Workflow.
Enter the name of the workflow.
Select the Freshsales Suite module to apply the workflow to.
Select the trigger for the workflow.
Setup the conditions for the workflow.
Select the action 'Trigger Webhook'.
In order to find the details for the setup of the webhook, go to any contact.
Access the required SMS provider.
Select the message sender, enter the message and click on 'Get Workflow Code'.
You can now view all the details to setup the webhook.
Select the request method as POST.
Copy the Webhook URL and enter it under callback URL.
Select the encoding format as JSON.
Select 'Compose request body' as Advanced.
Copy the workflow code and paste it under 'Content'.
Erase the to number.
Click on 'Insert placeholder'.
Select the recipient phone field to send the messages.
Erase the value adjacent to recordId.
Insert the contact Id field.
Save the webhook.
Enable the workflow.
Switch SMS Provider
Access the application within Freshsales.
Click on 'Use Other Providers'.
Select the messaging service using which you wish to send the message.
Extension Settings
Click on your profile within the application.
You can now view the extension settings page.
Manage Users of Messaging Service
Select Manage App Users.
You can now view the list of Freshsales users.
The admin can now permit users to use their account for the selected SMS provider.
Click on Add to enable the feature for users.
Click on Remove to disable the feature.
The admin can also Add all or Remove all users.
Incoming Messages
Select 'Incoming events sync' to access the settings for incoming messages using a particular SMS provider.
Desktop Notifications
Enable users to receive desktop notifications for your incoming messages.
Select 'Message Notifications'.
Enter the email id of the user.
The user must have an Ulgebra account under the entered email id.
Click on 'Add user' to invite the user.
Copy the invite link and share it with the user.
The user must open the link on their browser.
Click on 'Start Receiving notifications on this browser'.
The user can now receive desktop notifications for your incoming messages.
Extension Tab
Select 'Open in New Tab'.
You can now access the extension at all times in a separate tab.
Click on the drop-down adjacent to SMS Provider in order to switch messaging services.
Select the provider you wish to access.
Application Analytics
Select 'App Usage Analytics'.
Here you can view all the statistics of the usage of the integration.
Reset Application
Select 'Reset App Configurations'.
Enter 'confirm' and click on Reset.
All the data of the application would now be deleted.
Message Sender
Add Message Sender
Click on 'Choose Sender'.
Select '+Add New Sender'.
Select the channel type of the sender to be added.
Enter the Sender Id from the SMS provider.
Enter the display name of the sender.
Save the new sender.
Default Sender
Click on the pin icon beside the name of the sender.
This sender would now be selected by default while sending messages from the SMS provider.
Message Templates
Create templates
Click on Insert Template.
Select '+Add New Template'.
Enter the name of the template.
Enter the message within the template.
Insert placeholders and emojis if required.
Save the new message template.
Edit Template
Click on the edit icon beside the name of the template.
Make the changes required.
Save the edited template.
Delete Template
Click on the delete icon adjacent to the name of the template in order to delete the template.
Utilize the various features of the application based on the messaging service used.
