Contact Freshsales customers via RingCentral SMS

Access RingCentral at any moment using a separate tab.
Must be a user of Freshsales Suite.
Must have RingCentral account.
Must have installed the AppCursor Chrome extension on the browser
Install the AppCursor Chrome extension on your browser.
Visit the Ulgebra Apps Marketplace.
Click on FreshWorks CRM Integrations.
Under RingCentral, click on 'Install RingCentral for FreshWorks CRM'.
Enter your Freshsales account domain and API Key.
Authorize Freshsales account.
Click on 'Authorize' to proceed to RingCentral authorization.
Sign in to your RingCentral account.
Click on 'Authorize' to complete RingCentral authorization.
RingCentral SMS has now been setup in Freshsales Suite.
Go to any Freshsales contact.
Click on the RingCentral from the contact panel on top.
Select the RingCentral sender from the Choose Sender drop-down.
Include additional contacts using the 'Add Recipients' option.
Select the country code and enter the contact number.
Click on Add.
Select any Freshsales filter to add all contacts pertaining to the filter.
Search for any contact within the Freshsales module.
Add the particular contact.
Enter a default country code.
Select the settings for the default country code.
The settings available for default country code are as follows:
do not add country code
The default country code can be ignored using this option and can be used if all the contacts in your CRM contain a country code.
add for all phone numbers
In case the contact numbers in your CRM do not contain a country code, you can use this option to add the country code to all the phone numbers.
add if phone number starts with 0
In case some of saved contact numbers begin with 0, you can use this option to add the default country code to such numbers alone
add if phone number not starts with country code
Using the option the default country code would be added to contact numbers that do not contain a country code alone. In case the number contains a country code, the default country code will be ignored.
Enter the message to be sent or select a message template.
Insert placeholders and emojis if required.
Send your RingCentral SMS to the Freshsales contact.
Select the required contacts from the list view of the Freshsales module.
Click on the Ulgebra icon.
Select RingCentral.
Select the RingCentral sender.
Click on 'Add Recipients' to include additional contacts.
You can add contact numbers, select a Freshsales filter or search for a specific contact.
Enter the message or insert a template.
Include placeholders and emojis.
Send your RingCentral bulk SMS.
Click on your Ulgebra profile within the application.
Access the settings page of RingCentral SMS for Freshsales.
Select 'Incoming events sync'.
Enable 'Capture incoming messages' to receive RingCentral SMS into Freshsales.
Messages from nonexisting numbers will create a new Contact in Frehsales.
In order to prevent the creation of new contacts enable 'Ignore messages from NEW customers'.
Select 'Open in New Tab'.
You can now access the extension in a separate tab at any time.
Select 'App Usage Analytics'.
You can now view the complete statistics of the usage of RingCentral SMS Integration for Freshsales.
Select 'Reset App Configurations'.
Enter 'confirm' and click on 'Reset'.
All the application history would now be deleted.
Click on the Settings icon.
Select 'Manage Workflows'.
Select 'Create workflow'.
Enter the name of the workflow to be created.
Setup the workflow trigger.
Setup the conditions for the execution of the workflow.
Select the workflow action as 'Trigger webhook'.
In order to setup the webhook, go to any Freshsales contact.
Access RingCentral SMS.
Select the RingCentral SMS sender.
Enter the message to be sent through the workflow.
Click on 'Get Workflow code'.
You can now access all the details to set up the workflow.
Select request method as POST.
Copy the Webhook URL and paste it under callback URL.
Select encoding format as JSON.
Select Compose request body as Advanced.
Copy the workflow code and paste it under content.
Erase the phone number adjacent to 'to' and insert the contact phone field within the double quotes.
Click on 'Insert placeholder'.
Select the required field.
Erase the value for recordId and insert the placeholder for contact Id.
Save the webhook.
Enable the workflow to send automated RingCentral SMS.
Click on the Choose Sender drop-down.
Select '+Add New Sender'.
Select the sender channel.
Enter the RingCentral sender Id.
Enter the display name for the SMS sender.
Save the new sender.
Click on the pin icon adjacent to the name of the sender.
This sender would be selected by default while sending messages.
Select '+Add New Template' at the Insert Template drop-down.
Enter the name of the template.
Enter the message within the template.
Insert placeholders and emojis if required.
Click on 'Save Template'.
Click on the edit icon adjacent to the name of the template.
Make the required changes.
Save the edited template.
Click on the delete icon adjacent to the name of the template.
The template has been deleted.
