MessageBird Integration for Leadsquared

Step 3:

After successful authentication of Leadsquared & MessageBird, you can view the MessageBird icon within Leadsquared.

Features


  • Initiate conversations from Leadsquared

Pre-requisites


Installation


Install MessageBird for Leadsquared from the Ulgebra Marketplace
  • You would now be redirected to the installation page.

  • Sign in to Ulgebra using your Leadsquared email id.

  • Enter the Leadsquared domain.

  • Within the Leadsquared account, click on your profile.

  • Select settings.

  • Select API and Webhooks.

  • Select API Access Keys.

  • Here you can access the Leadsquared Access Key and Secret Key.

  • Enter the Access Key and Secret within the space provided.

  • Click on 'Authorize Now'.

Applications


MessageBird Messages


  • Go to any Leadsquared Lead.

  • Click on the Ulgebra icon.

  • Select 'MessageBird'.

  • Select the MessageBird channel from which the message is to be sent.

  • Click on 'Add Recipients' in case you wish to add additional contacts.

  • Select the country code and enter the contact number.

  • Click on Add.

  • Enter the default country code.

  • Select the condition for the application of the default country code.

  • The conditions available are as follows:

  1. do not add country code

The default country code can be ignored using this option and can be used if all the contacts in Leadsquared contain a country code.


  1. add for all phone numbers

In case the contact numbers in Leadsquared do not contain a country code, you can use this option to add the country code to all the phone numbers.


  1. add if phone number starts with 0

In case some of saved contact numbers begin with 0, you can use this option to add the default country code to such numbers alone


  1. add if phone number not starts with country code

Using the option the default country code would be added to contact numbers that do not contain a country code alone. In case the number contains a country code, the default country code will be ignored.

Message History


  • View the details of MessageBird messages under the Activity History section with each Lead.

Lead Chats


  • Access the application within the lead.

  • Click on the chat icon at the panel on top.

  • You can now view the history of MessageBird chats held with the contact.

Send MessageBird Message to your leads


  • Select the contacts to send messages on the Leads page.

  • Click on the Ulgebra icon.

  • Select MessageBird.

  • Click on 'Add Recipients' to add additional contacts if required.

  • Enter the contact number.

  • Click on Add.

Real-time Notifications


  • Click on the bell icon within the application to access the MessageBird notifications.

  • Here you can view the latest incoming MessageBird messages.

  • You can also view the read messages which would be differentiated.

Extension Settings


  • Click on your Ulgebra profile within the application to access the settings page.

MessageBird Inbox


  • Select MessageBird Inbox on the settings page.

  • You would now be redirected to the Inbox containing all MessageBird conversations.

  • Select any conversation to view the chat history with the contact.

  • Also, send messages to contacts.

  • Select any MessageBird sender to view all conversations from a particular sender.

  • Search for any contact number to access the conversations held with a specific contact.

  • Also, initiate conversations if required.

MessageBird Tab


  • Select 'Open in New Tab'.

  • You can now access the extension at all times in a separate tab.

User Management


  • The Leadsquared admin can enable multiple users to share a single MessageBird account.

  • Select 'Manage App Users'.

  • You can now view the list of Leadsquared users within the organization.

  • Click on 'Add' to allow the user to utilize your MessageBird account.

  • Click on 'Remove' to disable the user from this feature.

  • Also, Add all or Remove all users if required.

Incoming Messages


  • Select 'Incoming events sync'.

  • Enable 'Capture incoming messages' to receive MessageBird messages into Leadsquared.

  • New Leads would be created in Leadsquared for incoming messages from non-existing contacts.

  • Prevent the creation of new Leads, enable 'Ignore messages from NEW customers'.

  • You can view the list of all the MessageBird channels.

  • Enable the channels you wish to receive incoming from.

  • Disable the channels you do not wish to receive incoming messages from.

  • Select 'App Usage Analytics'.

  • Here you can view the statistics of the usage of MessageBird for Leadsquared.

Desktop Notifications


  • Enable multiple users to receive desktop notifications for your incoming MessageBird messages.

  • Select 'Message Notifications'.

  • Enter the email of the user for whom you wish to enable incoming messages.

  • The user must have an Ulgebra account under the entered email id.

  • Click on 'Add User'.

Reset Application


  • Select 'Reset App Configurations'.

  • Enter 'confirm' within the space provided.

  • Click on 'Reset'.

  • All the data of the integration would now be deleted,

Message Sender


Add MessagBird Sender


  • Click on the Choose Sender drop-down.

  • Select '+Add New Sender'.

Add MessageBird channel as sender
  • Enter the type of channel to be added as SMS, WhatsApp or Viber.

  • Enter the Sender Id as per MessageBird.

  • Enter the display name for the sender.

  • Save the message sender.

  • Click on the pin icon beside the name of the sender to select a default MessageBird sender.

Create Template


  • Click on the Templates drop-down.

  • Select '+Add New Template'.
