Textlocal SMS for Pipedrive
Pipedrive is a Customer Relationship Management software which acts as an account - management tool and assists in marketing and sales growth. It helps to automatically trace calls, emails and synchronize them with tasks.
Textlocal is a flexible API provider which helps to integrate SMS service with different CRM platforms. It helps to save contacts, compose SMS and send single and bulk messages to customers. The SMS can be regarding the offers available, alerts, OTPs, etc... Hence Textlocal and Pipedrive are integrated to make customer communication more easier and faster. Hence the extension, "Textlocal SMS for Pipedrive" has intelligent features so that the messages reach the end users and make them comfortable without losing communication.

Application Installation and working
Step 1: Go to the Pipedrive marketplace. In the marketplace, search for the application “Textlocal SMS for Pipedrive". Click Install now to install the app.
Step 2: By agreeing to the terms and conditions, click Allow and Install.
Step 3: Now, you can view that the extension is installed successfully.
Step 4: Now, go to any of the Pipedrive contacts and click the "Send Textlocal Message" option at the top right by clicking the three dots.
Step 5: Enter your Textlocal API key in the space provided and click "Authorize".
Step 6: Click the "Get Here" option to get your Textlocal API key or create a new one using the "Create New Key" option.
This is the installation and configuration for the application "Textlocal SMS for Pipedrive".
1) Send single messages to Pipedrive contacts/deals/organization
Step 1: Go to any of the Pipedrive contacts and click the three dots at the top right. Check for the option "Send Textlocal Message".
Select the Sender from the drop-down. You also have the option to pin the sender in default or delete the sender.
Step 2: Check the added number of the contact/deal/organization. Add the default country code to the number if it doesn't contain it.
Enter the message or select any templates from the drop-down. Insert either the user field or person field as merge fields.
Insert emojis to the messages if required and click the "Send SMS" option to send the message to the client.
[Note: Without the country code, the messages will be failed and will not reach the recipient. Enter the default country code with the"+" symbol and select any one of the appropriate conditions that suit you.]
Step 3: Once the message is sent, you will get notified of the status of the sent message.
Step 4: Once the message is sent, the same will be added as notes under the Pipedrive record.
2) Send bulk messages to Pipedrive contacts/deals/organizations
Step 1: Go to any of the Pipedrive modules list page and select the check boxes to whom you wanted to send bulk messages. Click the "Send Textlocal Message" option by clicking the three dots at the top right now.
Step 2: Choose the sender, check the added bulk numbers and add the default country code if needed.
Type your message and click the "Send SMS" option to send the message.
Step 3: The other ways of sending bulk messages is using the "Add Recipients" option available. Once you click the option, the other ways of sending bulk messages are:
Select a filter from the drop-down and send bulk messages to clients
Search and add any contacts in Pipedrive and send bulk messages.
Add the contacts manually and send bulk messages.
[Note: Add the default country code if required or else the messages will be failed. Enter the default country code with the"+" symbol and select any one of the appropriate conditions that suit you. You have multiple options for configuring the country code.
3) Create new templates inside Pipedrive
Step 1: Go to any of the Pipedrive contacts and click the "Send Textlocal message" option. Click the "Add New Template" option to create a new template.
Step 2: Enter the template name and the message content. Use the user fields or person fields as the merge fields in the message content. Add emojis if required and use the "Save Template" option to save the created template.
Once the template is created, you can access it later to send the template messages from the Pipedrive CRM.
4) Add additional SMS senders in Pipedrive
Step 1: Click the "Add New Sender" option available at the drop-down once you click the 'Choose Sender' option.
Step 2: Choose the channel type, enter the Sender ID and Display Name. Click the "Save Sender" option to save the new sender.
Once the sender is added, you can fetch it later and send messages to Pipedrive contacts.
5) View the message history inside Pipedrive
Once you have sent messages from the Pipedrive CRM, you can view the sent messages added as notes inside the respective Pipedrive contacts/deals/organization.
Once you click the profile picture at the top right, you can view your authorized Pipedrive account and Textlocal account balance. You can re-authorize it whenever required.
To share the Textlocal account credentials with your users, click the "Manage App Users" option.
On the admin system:
You can add the Pipedrive users who can use your Textlocal account for sending messages.
You can able to view the list of all Pipedrive users and you can add them using the "Add" or "Add all" button.
On the user system:
The user while authorizing the Textlocal account, can either use the account shared by their admin or else they can use their own account for sending messages. To configure their own account click on the "Use another account" option.
