Pre-requisites


  • Must be a user of Zendesk Sell

  • Must have an account with the selected SMS provider

Installation


  • Visit the Zendesk Marketplace where you can find the integration Any SMS for Zendesk Sell.

  • Click on 'Install'.

  • Select your Zendesk Sell account to install the application.

  • Install the extension inside the selected Zendesk Sell account.

  • Click on the Ulgebra icon which would be available at the panel on top.

  • Click on 'Send Message - Any SMS'.

Access the application to complete setup
  • Select the SMS provider you wish to integrate.

Select the SMS provider you wish to authorize
  • Click on 'Authorize Now' to proceed to Zendesk authorization.

  • Authorize the Zendesk account.

  • Enter the credentials of the account with the SMS provider.

  • Authorize the selected SMS provider.

Any SMS has now been integrated with Zendesk Sell.

Applications


Send Messages


  • Go to any Zendesk Sell Contact, Lead or Deal.

  • From the panel on the right, click on 'Send Message - Any SMS' under Any SMS for Zendesk Sell.

  • Click on the drop-down adjacent to SMS Provider.

View the list of SMS providers
  • Select the SMS provider from which the message is to be sent.

  • Select the message sender from the Choose Sender drop-down.

  • Click on Add Recipients in case you wish to include additional contacts.

  • Select the country code and enter the contact number.

  • Click on 'Add'.

  • Search for any Zendesk Sell contact to add a specific contact.

  • Enter a default country code.

  • Select the settings for the default country code.

  • The conditions available are as follows:

  1. do not add country code

The default country code can be ignored using this option and can be used if all the contacts in Zendesk Sell contain a country code.


  1. add for all phone numbers

In case the contact numbers in Zendesk Sell do not contain a country code, you can use this option to add the country code to all the phone numbers.


  1. add if phone number starts with 0

In case some of saved contact numbers begin with 0, you can use this option to add the default country code to such numbers alone


  1. add if phone number not starts with country code

Using the option the default country code would be added to contact numbers that do not contain a country code alone. In case the number contains a country code, the default country code will be ignored.

  • Enter the message or insert a template.

  • Send the message to the Zendesk Sell contact.

Message History


  • View the history of messages sent and received within the Zendesk Sell contact.

  • Also, go through the details of each message.

Contact Chats


  • Access the application within any Zendesk Sell contact.

  • Select 'Chat View' from the drop-down adjacent to the name of the SMS provider.

  • Select the message sender and the recipient phone field.

  • You can now view all the chats held with the particular contact.

  • View the details of each message beneath the message.

  • Also, send messages from the Chat View.

  • Click on the Ulgebra icon from the panel on top.

  • Select 'Send Message - Any SMS'.

  • Select the SMS provider from which the message is to be sent.

  • Select the sender from which the message is to be sent.

  • Click on 'Add Recipients' to add contacts.

  • Select the default country code.

  • Enter the contact number.

  • Click on 'Add'.

  • Similarly, multiple contacts can be added to send a message.

  • Send the bulk message using the selected messaging service.

Conversations Inbox


  • From the drop-down adjacent to the name of the SMS provider, select 'Conversations View'.

  • Here you can view all the conversations held using the SMS provider.

  • Select any conversation to view the history of chats.

  • View the read receipts for the messages sent as well.

  • Also, send messages to the particular contact.

Real-time Notifications


  • Receive real-time notifications for incoming messages.

  • Click on the bell icon to view the latest messages.

  • Here you can view the unread and read messages which would be differentiated for ease.

  • Access the contact and the chat associated with the respective conversation from each notification.

  • Also, view the complete chat within Zendesk Sell from the notification.

Extension Settings


  • Select the SMS provider for which you wish to access the settings.

  • Click on the Ulgebra profile within the application to access the extension settings page.

User Management (For Admins)


  • Select 'Manage App Users'.

Manage the users who can use the shared account of the SMS provider as the Zendesk Sell admin
  • Here the Zendesk Sell admin can view the list of users.

  • Click on 'Add' to allow the user to use the account of the admin with the SMS provider.

  • Click on 'Remove' to disable this feature for the particular user.

  • You can also 'Add all' or 'Remove all' users.

  • The user can view the invite received from the admin on the extension settings page.

  • Accept the invitation to authorize using the admin account.

  • Within the user account, the user can select the admin account during the authorization of the SMS provider to be able to use the share account.

Inbox


  • Access the Inbox of conversations from the Settings page.

Incoming Messages


  • Select 'Incoming events sync' to enable and setup incoming messages from the SMS provider.

Desktop Notifications


  • Select 'Message Notifications'.

  • Enter the mail id of the user who is to receive the desktop notifications.

  • Ensure that the user has an Ulgebra account under the entered email id.

  • Click on 'Add User'.

  • Copy the invite link and share it with the respective user.

  • The user must access the link on their browser.

  • Click on 'Start Receiving notifications on this browser' to enable desktop notifications.

  • Click on 'Open in New Tab' to access the extension at all times in a separate tab.

Integration Analytics


  • Select 'App Usage Analytics'.

  • Here you can view the statistics of the usage of the application using the selected SMS provider.

Reset Application


  • Select 'Reset App Configurations'.

  • Enter 'confirm' and click on Reset.

  • All the data of the application would be deleted for the selected SMS provider.

Message Sender


Add Message Sender


  • Select '+Add New Sender' from the Choose Sender drop-down.

  • Select the channel type.

  • Enter the Sender Id from the SMS provider.

  • Enter the name using which the sender is to be displayed.

  • Save the new message sender.

Default Sender


  • Click on the pin icon beside the name of the sender to select a default sender.

  • This sender would now be selected by default while sending messages using the SMS provider.

Create Message Template


  • Click on '+Add New Template'.

  • Enter the name of the template.

  • Enter the content within the template.

  • Click on 'Save Template'.

  • Click on the edit icon adjacent to the name of the template.
