Application Installation and setup

Step 1: Go to Zendesk Marketplace and search for the application "Pinnacle for Zendesk Sell". Click the "Install" option for installing the application in the Zendesk Sell account.

Step 2: Once the extension is installed, you can view the extension in the top right frame from where you can either initiate a new message to client or update/complete your extension configuration.

Step 3: For setting up the configuration, click the " Pinnacle Message" option.

Step 4: Now, you have to authorize your Zendesk Sell account by entering the access token. For getting the token, click the "Click to get Access Token" option.

Step 5: Click the "Add Access Token" option to create a new access token.

Step 6: Provide some name or description for the new access token and save it by clicking the "Save" option.

Step 7: You will get a new token created. Copy the token and paste it into the space provided and click the "Authorize Now" option for authorizing your Zendesk Sell account.

Step 8: Once the Zendesk Sell account is authorized, you have to authorize your Pinnacle account by entering your Pinnacle API key and Pinnacle WABA ID. Enter your Pinnacle API key and WABA ID in the space provided and click the "Authorize Now" option for the Pinnacle account to be authorized.

Application working

1) Send Pinnacle messages to Zendesk Sell Contacts

Step 1: Go to any of the Zendesk Sell contacts. Scroll down at the right and check for the option "Send Pinnacle Message".

Step 2: Select the sender ID from the drop-down, Add multiple recipients if required, select the approved template and then click the "Send SMS" option for sending the message.

Step 3: Now, you will get the notified of the status of the sent message.

Step 4: To add the additional SMS/WhatsApp sender, click the "Add New Sender" option. You also have the option to pin the Sender in default.

Step 5: Once you click the "Add New Sender" option, select the type of channel. Enter the Sender ID and Display name. Select the Visibility option to be viewed only by you or all the users. Once done, click the "Save Sender" option.

Step 6: Now, you can view the newly added sender in the drop-down. You also have the option to pin the sender in default and also to delete the sender. Select the WhatsApp Sender created to send WhatsApp messages.

Step 7: Select the approved WhatsApp template and if the selected approved template contains any placeholders, then fill in those details and click the "Send WhatsApp" option for the messages to be sent.

Step 8: Now, you will get the notified of the status of the sent WhatsApp message.

Step 9: Once the messages are sent, you can view those messages added as notes inside the particular contact.

2) Send Pinnacle messages to Zendesk Sell Leads

Go to any of the Zendesk Sell leads, and check for the option "Send Pinnacle Message" for sending either an SMS or WhatsApp message to clients.

You can also view those messages saved as notes inside a particular lead.

3) Send Pinnacle messages to Zendesk Sell Deals

Go to any of the Zendesk Sell deals, and check for the option "Send Pinnacle Message" for sending either an SMS or WhatsApp message to clients.

You can also view those messages saved as notes inside a particular deal.

4) Initiate a new Pinnacle message to a client

Step 1: Click the Pinnacle icon found at the top bar. Click the "Send Pinnacle Message" option.

Step 2: Select the Sender ID and click the "Add Recipient" option to enter the client's number. Once entered, click "Add" so that the number will be added.

Type your message and click the "Send SMS" or "Send WhatsApp" option for the messages to be sent.

Step 3: Now, you will get the notified of the status of the sent message.
