Connect Clickatell SMS to Zoho CRM to contact customers easily. Send messages to individual contacts in Zoho CRM or send mass messages to multiple contacts. Customize and personalize your SMS in no time. Instant send SMS using predefined message templates.
Must be a Zoho CRM user
Must have a Clickatell account
Should have SMS numbers from Clickatell
Visit the Zoho Marketplace where you can find the extension Clickatell for Zoho CRM.
Click on 'Install'.
Agree to the terms and click on 'Install'.
Agree to the permissions and click on 'Continue to Install'.
Select the Zoho CRM account to install the app in.
Access the Settings page of Clickatell for Zoho CRM.
Sign in to Ulgebra using the Zoho CRM email id.
Select the Zoho account DC.
Click on 'Authorize'.
Click on 'Accept'.
We now have to authorize the Clickatell account.
Click on 'Get Here'.
Click on 'Create One API Integration'.
Enter the name of the Integration.
Click on 'Generate API'.
Copy the API Key.
Enter the API Key under Clickatell API Key.
Click on 'Authorize'.
Send Clickatell Message
Go to any Zoho CRM Lead, Contact, Deal & Account.
From the drop-down on the right, select 'Send SMS - Clickatell'.
From the Choose Sender drop-down, select the Clickatell sender.
Click on 'Add Recipients' if you wish to include additional contacts.
Select the country code and enter a contact number.
Click on 'Add' to add a particular contact number.
Select a filter to add contacts from a particular Zoho CRM filter.
Search for any existing contact to be added as a recipient.
Enter a default country code and select the condition for the application of the same.
The settings available for default country code are as follows:
do not add country code
The default country code can be ignored using this option and can be used if all the contacts in your CRM contain a country code.
add for all phone numbers
In case the contact numbers in your CRM do not contain a country code, you can use this option to add the country code to all the phone numbers.
add if phone number starts with 0
In case some of saved contact numbers begin with 0, you can use this option to add the default country code to such numbers alone
add if phone number not starts with country code
Using the option the default country code would be added to contact numbers that do not contain a country code alone. In case the number contains a country code, the default country code will be ignored.
Enter the message or insert a message template.
Insert contact fields as required.
Send the SMS to the Zoho CRM contact through Clickatell.
Bulk Clickatell SMS
Go to the Leads, Contacts, Deals or Accounts module of Zoho CRM.
Select the required contacts.
From the drop-down on top, select 'Send Bulk SMS - Clickatell'.
Select the SMS sender to send the bulk message from.
Include multiple contacts using the 'Add Recipients' option.
Enter the message to be sent to insert a message template.
Send the bulk message to Zoho CRM contacts using Burst SMS.
Access the 'Clickatell SMS History' section within the contact.
Here you can view the history and details of each Clickatell message sent to the contact.
