Pre-requisites for app installation

Edit the ticket fields/details
Add comments from WhatsApp Web
Step 1: Install the Zoho Desk Inside WhatsApp Web chrome extension. After adding the chrome extension, refresh your WhatsApp Web and find the Zoho Desk icon to get connected.
Step 2: Once you click that icon, You have to connect to your Desk account by selecting the Organization from the drop-down.
Step 3: Once the Organization is selected, then you have to authorize your Desk account. Go through the list of points and then click "Accept".
Once done, refresh the WhatsApp Web and now the setup is ready to access your Desk inside WhatsApp Web.
1) Create a new contact from WhatsApp Web
Step 1: Click any of the WhatsApp chats.
Step 2: Enter all the required details and click the "Create Contact" option to create a new contact in your Desk account.
Step 3: Now, you will get notified as a new contact has been created successfully.
Step 4: You can also view that the contact has been created in your Desk.
2) Create a new ticket from WhatsApp Web
Step 1: Enter all the required details and fill in the necessary information for creating a new ticket.
Step 2: Once all the details are entered, click the "Create Ticket" option so that a new ticket will be created for the contact.
Step 3: Now, you will get notified that a new ticket has been created successfully.
Step 4: You can also view the newly created ticket in your Desk now.
Step 5: If you want to create further new tickets for the same contact, then click the "+" symbol available at the right side of the ticket section and follow the steps as above.
3) View, edit and add comments in the ticket
Click the "Expand" option available in the ticket to view all the details of the existing ticket. You can also add your comments using the available option and edit the details if you want. These all can be done just by staying in the WhatsApp Web.
4) Re-direct to Zoho Desk contacts from WhatsApp Web
Click any of the WhatsApp chats. Then, click the "Open contact in Zoho Desk" option which will re-direct you to the contact details page in your Desk account.
5) Re-direct to Zoho Desk tickets from WhatsApp Web
Click any of the WhatsApp chats. Then, just click any of the tickets or the option available at the right which will re-direct you to the ticket page in your Desk account.
