Pinnacle Teleservices is an emerging SMS solution provider and also provides call solutions. The extension "Pinnacle SMS for Zoho Books" will make communication faster, easier, and more convenient for people to connect globally from Zoho books. This extension thus helps to catch customers without any lack of time and communication so that the payments can be made online and get clarified of any queries from within Zoho Books itself.

Application Installation
Step 1: Go to the Marketplace and search for the application "Pinnacle SMS for Zoho Books". Select the Organization and agree to the terms and conditions by clicking the check box. Now, click the "Install Extension" option to install the extension in the Zoho books account.
Step 2: Go to any of Customers/Invoices or Vendors module in Zoho books and select any one of them.
Step 3: Check the Pinnacle icon at the top right corner to configure the Zoho Books and Pinnacle account.
Step 4: Once you click the icon, you will be asked to authorize your Zoho Books account. Once done, for authorizing the Pinnacle account, you have to enter the Pinnacle API key in the space provided and click the "Authorize Now" option.
Step 5: Now, by clicking your login profile, you can view your authorized Zoho books account and Pinnacle account balance. If you want to use the WhatsApp channel, then you have to enter and configure your WABA API key.
Step 6: Once you click the "Update WABA API key" option, then you have to enter the WABA API key in the space provided and click the "Authorize Now" option so that you can now send WhatsApp messages using the extension.
This is the installation and setup of the application "Pinnacle SMS and WhatsApp for Zoho Books".
Application working
1) Send messages to Zoho Books customers
Step 1: Go to any of the Zoho books Customers/Invoices or Vendors module and click any of them. Then, click the Pinnacle icon at the top right. Select the Sender ID from the drop-down. Use the "Add recipient" option for adding more numbers. Select the approved templates from the drop-down and click the "Send SMS" option for sending the messages.
Step 2: Once you send a message, you will receive a notification indicating the status of the message.
Step 3: For sending WhatsApp messages, click the option "Other" from the Sender ID drop-down. Enter the WhatsApp Sender ID in the space provided and click the "Save for Later" option to fetch the Sender ID later.
Use the "Add recipient" option to send messages. Select the approved templates and enter the placeholder values. You can also fetch the values using the "User fields" or "Contact fields" option. Once done, click the "Send WhatsApp" option to send the messages.
Step 4: Once the messages are sent, notification will be received with the message status.
2) Send messages from the "Invoices" module
Go to any of the Zoho books invoices. Check for the option to send Pinnacle messages at the top right corner. You can send Pinnacle messages (SMS and WhatsApp) using approved templates from Zoho Books.
3) Send messages to Zoho Books Vendors
Go to any of the Zoho books vendors. Check for the option to send Pinnacle messages at the top right corner. You can send Pinnacle messages (SMS and WhatsApp) using approved templates from Zoho Books.
4) Send messages from the Zoho Books dashboard
Login to the Zoho Books dashboard. Scroll down and check for the option "Send Pinnacle SMS and WhatsApp". You can send Pinnacle messages (SMS and WhatsApp) using approved templates from Zoho Books.
5) View the message history added as a comment inside Zoho Books
Go to any of the Zoho Books customers, and view the message history added as a comment.
Go to any of the Zoho Books invoices, and click the "Comments and History" option available at the top right.
Now, you can view the messages added as comment inside Zoho Books.
Go to any of the Zoho Books vendors, and view the message history added as a comment.
6) Send automated messages to Zoho books clients
Step 1: Click the settings option at the top right and select the "Automation" option.
Step 2: Click the "New Workflow Rule" option to create a new workflow to send messages using the Pinnacle extension.
Step 3: Give a name for the rule and select the module for which the automated messages has to be sent. Then, click "Next" to proceed further.
Step 4: Select the appropriate conditions for triggering the workflow and click "Next".
Step 5: Enter the conditions to filter the trigger conditions if any. Select the workflow execution time condition as to execute only once or every time.
Step 6: Select the actions as "Webhooks" and create a new webhook using the "Add New Webhook" option.
Step 7: Now, enter the name for the webhook, copy and paste the Pinnacle webhook URL from the settings page and select the method as "POST". Select the Entity parameters as "Append Selected Parameters".
Step 8: You can get the webhook URL and parameters by following the steps as,
Any module (Customers/Vendors/Invoices) --> Pinnacle icon at right --> Profile picture --> Workflows
Step 9: Select the check box to add user-defined parameters. Enter the parameter name as "rawDataJSON" and paste the parameters in the space provided. Replace the "FILL_HERE" option with correct values.
SMS Parameters
"sender" - Enter the Pinnacle Sender ID
"number" - Enter the phone number field of the client (Fetch from the "Insert Placeholder" option)
"text" - Enter the approved message content
"module" - Enter the module for which the workflow is going to be executed (All characters should be in lowercase)
"recordId" - It can be, for example, contact ID (Fetch from the "Insert Placeholder" option)
WhatsApp Parameters
"from" - Enter the Pinnacle Sender ID
"to" - Enter the phone number field of the client (Fetch from the "Insert Placeholder" option)
"templateid" - Enter the template ID which you can get from the template you fetch for sending
"url" - Enter the media URL if you have any. Or else, remove this parameter
"placeholders" - If the template contains any placeholders, you can fetch the value using the "Insert Placeholder" option
"module" - Enter the module for which the workflow is going to be executed (All characters should be in lowercase)
"recordId" - It can be, for example, contact ID (Fetch from the "Insert Placeholder" option)
Once you have entered all the values, click the "Save" option.
Step 10: For fetching the template ID, go to any of the customers/vendors/invoice module --> Click the Pinnacle icon at the right --> Select any of the approved template from drop-down --> Find the template ID.
Enter the template ID in the required space in the workflow.
Step 11: Now your webhook has been added to the workflow. Click "Save" for saving the created new workflow.
Step 12: Now you can view the created workflow under "Workflow Rules". You can use any of the options available at the right to update or delete the workflow.
Now, according to the workflow, whenever the conditions are met, the automated messages will be sent to the clients.
