Pre-requisites


  • Must be a user of Zoho Recruit

  • Must have a RingCentral account

Application Installation

Step 1: Go to Ulgebra Marketplace and install the App cursor chrome extension.

  • Step 2: After installing the chrome extension, select "Zoho Recruit integrations"

Step 4: Initially you have to sign in to Ulgebra to proceed further. You can either use the "Sign in with email" option or else you can use the "Sign in with Google" option.
Note: The sign-in mail doesn't have to be your Ringcentral login mail. You have to use your Zoho Recruit mail for signing in.

Step 4: After signing in, initially you have to authorize your Zoho Recruit account. Click on "Authorize Now".

  • Click on 'Accept' to authorize Zoho account.

Step 4: After successfully authorizing your Salesforce, you have to authorize your RingCentral account. Click "Authorize"

  • Sign in to RingCentral account.

  • Authorize RingCentral account.

RingCentral for Zoho Recruit has been setup.

Applications


RingCentral SMS


  • Go to any Zoho Recruit Contact or Candidate.

  • From the drop-down on the right side, select 'Send Message - RingCentral'.

  • You would now be redirected to the RingCentral SMS for Zoho Recruit application.

  • Click on 'Choose Sender' and select the RingCentral SMS sender.

  • In order to include multiple contacts, click on 'Add Recipients'.

  • Select the country code and enter the contact number.

  • Click on 'Add'.

  • Enter a default country code if required.

  • Select the settings for the application of the default country code.

  • The default country settings available are as follows:

  1. do not add country code

The default country code can be ignored using this option and can be used if all the contacts in Zoho Recruit contain a country code.


  1. add for all phone numbers

In case the contact numbers in Zoho Recruit do not contain a country code, you can use this option to add the country code to all the phone numbers.


  1. add if phone number starts with 0

In case some of saved contact numbers begin with 0, you can use this option to add the default country code to such numbers alone


  1. add if phone number not starts with country code

Using the option the default country code would be added to contact numbers that do not contain a country code alone. In case the number contains a country code, the default country code will be ignored.

  • Insert a message template or enter the message.

  • Enter # to insert a contact placeholder.

  • Select the required field from the placeholder drop-down.

  • Include emojis in the message.

  • Send the RingCentral SMS to Zoho Recruit Candidate or Contact.

Message History


  • Access the Notes section within any Contact or Candidate of Zoho Recruit.

  • Here you can view the details of the RingCentral messages.

Automated RingCentral SMS


  • Go to the Zoho Recruit Settings page.

  • Select 'Workflow Rules' under Automation.

  • Click on '+ Create Rule'.

  • Select the module for which the workflow is to be created.

  • Enter the name of the workflow.

  • Select the conditions for the execution of the workflow.

Setup the conditions for the workflow
  • Click on Instant Actions and select 'Webhooks'.

  • Access RingCentral within any Zoho Recruit Candidate or Contact.

  • Select the RingCentral sender and enter the message to be sent by the workflow.

  • Click on 'Get Workflow Code'.

  • Here you can view all the details required to setup the webhook.

  • Enter the name of the Webhook.

  • Copy the Webhook URL and paste it adjacent to URL to Notify.

  • Select the method as POST.

  • Enter the parameter name as 'rawDataJSON'.

  • Copy the workflow code and paste it adjacent to Value Description.

  • Erase the value adjacent to "phoneNumber" under ''to'.

  • Click on 'Select Field'.

  • Select the phone field of the contact to send the RingCentral SMS to.

  • Click on Insert to add the selected field.

  • Similarly, erase the value adjacent to "recordId" and insert the contact id field.

  • At Preview URL, click on 'Refresh URL'.

  • Click on 'Save and Associate' to save the webhook.

  • Click on 'Save' to save the workflow.

  • Automated messages would now be sent through RingCentral for the conditions setup.

Integration Settings


  • Click on the three dots at the panel on top of Zoho Recruit.

  • Select 'RingCentral Settings' from the drop-down.

  • You can now view the various features of the application on the settings page.

Incoming Messages


  • Select Incoming events sync.

  • Enable 'Capture incoming messages' to receive incoming RingCentral messages into Zoho Recruit.

  • New contacts would be created for incoming messages from nonexisting contacts.

  • Select if new contacts are to be created in the Candidates or Contacts module.

  • In case you do not want new contacts to be created, enable the option 'Ignore messages from NEW customers'.

Manage RingCentral Users


  • As the Zoho Recruit admin, permit the users of your organization to use your authorized RingCentral account.

  • Select 'Manage App Users'.

  • Here you can view the list of Zoho Recruit users.

  • Click on 'Add' to enable the user.

  • Once the user has been enabled, during the installation of the extension the user can select the admin account to authorize using the shared RingCentral account.

  • Click on 'Remove' to disable the user.

  • You can also 'Add all' or 'Remove all' users.

  • The user added by the admin can now view the invitation on the application settings page.

  • Accept the invite sent by the admin.

  • Select the admin account to complete RingCentral authorization.

RingCentral SMS Tab


  • Select 'Open in New Tab'.

  • You can now access RingCentral SMS Integration for Zoho Recruit in a separate tab to send messages at any moment.

Application Usage


  • Select 'App Usage Analytics'.

  • You can now access the statistics of the usage of the application.

Reset Application


  • Select 'Reset App Configurations'.

  • Enter 'confirm' and click on 'Reset'.

  • All the data of the extension would now be deleted.

RingCentral Sender


Add Sender


  • Click on Choose Sender.

  • Select '+Add New Sender'.

  • Select the channel as SMS.

  • Enter the RingCentral Sender Id.

  • Enter the display name for the sender.

  • Save the RingCentral SMS sender.

Default Sender


  • Click on the pin icon adjacent to the name of the sender.

  • This sender would be selected by default while sending RingCentral SMS.

Hide Sender


  • Click on the visibility icon adjacent to the name of the sender to hide the particular sender.

Delete Sender


  • Click on the delete icon beside the name of the sender to delete the SMS sender.

Template Messages


Create Template


  • From the Templates drop-down, click on '+Add New Template'.

  • Enter the name of the template.

  • Enter the message.

  • Include placeholders and emojis if required.

  • Save the template.

Edit Template


  • Click on the edit icon beside the name of the template.

  • Make the required changes.

  • Save the edited template.

Delete Template


  • Click on the delete icon beside the name of the template to delete any template.
