Visit the ActiveCampaign Marketplace where you can find the extension RingCentral SMS for ActiveCampaign.
Install the extension.
Go to any ActiveCampaign contact.
Access RingCentral Chats.
Firstly, we have to authorize the ActiveCampaign account.
Enter the ActiveCampaign domain in the space provided.
Access the ActiveCampaign settings page.
Select Developers.
Copy the API Key and paste it under ActiveCampaign API Key.
Authorize the ActiveCampaign account.
Click on 'Authorize' to proceed to RingCentral authorization.
Sign in to the RingCentral account.
Authorize the RingCentral account.
Access Automations from the panel on the left.
Click on 'Create an Automation'.
Select 'Start from Scratch'.
Click on Continue.
Select a trigger for the automation.
Setup the conditions for the trigger.
Select 'CX Apps' to add the action.
Select 'Ulgebra - Send RingCentral SMS'.
We now have to connect the Ulgebra account to ActiveCampaign.
Enter the Ulgebra account email id.
Click on 'in this page' to access the Ulgebra account email id.
Click on 'this page' to copy the Ulgebra Webhook Auth Token.
Copy the Ulgebra account email id.
Copy the webhook auth token.
Enter the auth token under Ulgebra Webhook Authtoken.
Click on 'Connect'.
Select the SMS channel.
Enter the RingCentral sender along with the country code.
Click on 'Personalize' under To.
Select the contact phone field.
Enter the default country code that is to be added for contact numbers that do not contain a country code.
Enter the message to be sent.
Click on 'Personalize' to insert contact fields within the message.
Click on Finish to save the configuration.
Click on 'Active' to activate the automation.
Access the RingCentral conversation held within each ActiveCampaign Contact or Deal.
Select RingCentral Chat.
Select the RingCentral SMS sender from which the chat was held.
You can now view the chat history of the customer.
Also, send messages and conduct conversations from the chat view.
Click on '/' to access the message template.
Select and insert any message template to send a pre-defined message.
Under Recent Activities select 'Notes'.
You can now view the RingCentral messages as comments.
Select any comment to view the message details.
Click on your Ulgebra profile within the application to access the settings page.
Select 'Open in New Tab'.
Click on the conversations icon to access the RingCentral Inbox.
You can now view all the conversations held through RingCentral.
Select the conversation to view the history of messages.
Also, send and receive messages within the Inbox.
Select any SMS sender to view the conversations held using a particular RingCentral sender.
Search for any contact number to view a specific conversation.
You can also click on the chat icon to initiate any conversation.
The ActiveCampaign admin can allow multiple users to share a single RingCentral account.
Select 'Manage App Users'.
You can now view the list of ActiveCampaign users.
Click on 'Add' to allow the user to use the authorized RingCentral account.
Click on 'Remove' to disable the feature for the users.
Select 'App Usage Analytics' to track the usage of RingCentral for ActiveCampaign.
Select 'Reset App Configurations'.
Enter 'confirm' within the space provided.
Click on 'Reset'.
Select '+Add New Sender' from the Choose sender drop-down.
Select the sender channel as SMS.
Enter the sender id from RingCentral.
Enter the display name for the sender.
Save the RingCentral SMS sender.
Click on the pin icon to select a default RingCentral sender.
This sender would be selected by default while sending messages.
Click on the visibility icon to hide any SMS sender.
Click on the delete icon beside the name of the sender to delete the RingCentral sender from the application.
Click on the 'Templates' drop-down to access the message templates.
Select '+Add New Template'.
Enter the name of the template to be created.
Enter the message within the template.
Save the message template.
Click on the edit icon beside the name of the template.
Make the changes required.
Save the edited template.
Click on the delete icon beside the name of the template to delete the message template.
