Features

Application Installation

Step 1: Go to Pipedrive Marketplace and search for the application Clickatell SMS for Pipedrive. Click Install Now to install the application.

Step 2: A set of terms and conditions will be displayed. Click Allow and Install to install the app.

Step 3: Sign in with your Ulgebra account to continue. You can either sign in with google or sign in with email.

Step 4: Once signed in, you will be re-directed to Clickatell for Pipedrive settings page. Authorize your Pipedrive account by clicking Connect now. Enter the Clickatell credential (API key) from your Clickatell account by clicking "Get here" option.

Step 5: Once you give "Get here", you will be re-directed to Clickatell site for logging in to your account.  Under One API section, click "Create One API Integration".

Step 6: Give some name and description for the API integration. Also select the integration type.

Step 7: Enable the options which you require in the Clickatell SMS channels. Click "Generate API" to create a new Clickatell API key.

Step 8: A new API key will be generated. Copy the key and paste it in the Clickatell for Pipedrive settings page.

Step 9: Click "Authorize Now" to authorize the Clickatell account by entering the API key.

Step 10 : Now, the integration status will be enabled. For getting the status of the outgoing and incoming messages, copy the reply and status call URL from the Clickatell for Pipedrive settings page and record the same in the Clickatell API integration page.

Step 11: In the Clickatell API integration page, under settings, enable the reply callbacks and status notifications. Enter the reply callback URL and status callback URL in the respective target address places.

Step 12: Click "Save changes" to save the URLs in the integration page.

Application Working

1) Sending Single Clickatell SMS

Go to any of the people or organizations under Pipedrive contacts. Click the three dots at the top right corner. Search for the option Send Clickatell SMS for sending the message.

2) Sending Clickatell SMS to multiple contacts at a time

Step 1: Select the number of People or Organizations to whom you want to send bulk SMS messages. Search for the option Send Bulk Clickatell SMS from the dropdown to send bulk SMS messages to clients.

Step 2: Select the From number, To number, the Template or the message for sending Clickatell SMS to the client.

Clickatell Templates

1) You can select the templates from the dropdown while sending Single or bulk Clickatell SMS.

2) You can create your own templates to send messages to your Pipedrive contacts. For creating a new template, from the dropdown, click "here" near Manage your templates. You can choose the module and name your template. You also have the option to Insert person fields in the template. Click Save to save the created template.

How to view message history?

All the Clickatell messages will be saved as notes inside Pipedrive contacts. Comments will also be displayed for the messages indicating the status of the messages. You can view that for your future reference.
