Application Installation
Step 1: Go to the Hubspot marketplace and search for the application "Karix SMS and WhatsApp for Hubspot". Click the "Install App" option to install the application from the Hubspot marketplace.
Step 2: Choose the Hubspot account in which you want to access the extension.
Step 3: Select "Connect App" to complete the installation of the extension.
Step 4: Now your extension is successfully installed.
Authorization
Step 1: Now, go to any of your Hubspot contacts, and click the "Send Message" option under the "Send Karix Message" option.
Step 2: Now you have to authorize your Karix account by entering your Karix credentials. You have to enter your Karix API key and to configure the WhatsApp channel enter your Karix API domain which will be auto-filled in the provided space. Enter WhatsApp WABA Id. And then click "Authorize Now".
Note: In case if you are an UAE user you have to remove the pre-filled Karix API domain and replace it with the value provided.
Now you have sucessfully authorized your Karix account.
How to add additional senders?
Step 1: Now, go to any of your Hubspot contacts, and click the "Send Message" option under the "Send Karix Message" option. Select the "Choose sender" option and then select "Add New Sender".
Step 2:
Select your Sender channel whether it is SMS or WhatsApp.
Enter your Sender Id at the provided space. (In the case of WhatsApp enter your WhatsApp number as Sender Id)
Enter the display name of your Sender Id.
After entering all the details click the "Save Sender"
Now you can able to view the additional sender you have added. You can able to send messages to your customers using both the sender Id.
Now the configuration of extension is successfully done and you are all set to send messages using the Karix extension.
Application and Working
Send SMS to Hubspot contacts
Step 1: Go to any of the Hubspot contacts. Click the "Send Message" option on the right panel under the "Send Karix Message" option.
Step 2:
Select the Sender from the drop-down. You also have the option to pin the Sender in default.
Add multiple recipients using the "Add recipients" option. Enter the default country code to be added to all the Hubspot contacts.
For initiating WhatsApp and SMS conversations you are only allowed to send Karix-approved Templates to your customers. After entering Message click "Send".
Step 3: You will be notified once your Message is successfully sent to your customers.
Step 4: You can view the message history added as notes under the "Activity" section inside each Hubspot contact.
Step 5: For viewing the Karix messages inside Hubspot, under the "Filter Activity" section, enable the "Karix SMS and WhatsApp for Hubspot" option.
Note: The messages can also be sent from the Deals, Tickets and Companies module.
How to send Messages to a specified filter of contacts?
Step 1:
Go to any of the Hubspot contacts. Click the "Send Message" option on the right panel under the "Send Karix Message" option.
Select your Sender Id.
And click on the "Add recipients" and select the filter of contacts to whom you want to send the messages by selecting the drop-down.
You can add the numbers by searching them from the contacts using the "Search from contacts" option or else you can manually add the number.
Step 2:
After selecting the lists, enter the message you wish to send to your customers. You can either type your personalized message or else you can use the template message. You can also insert emojis of your choice in your message.
After entering the message click "Send SMS".
How to create template Messages?
Step 1: To create templates go to any of the Hubspot contacts. Click the "Send Message" option on the right panel under the "Send Karix Message" option.
Step 2: Select the "Add New Template" option for creating new templates.
Step 3: Enter the name for your Karix template and enter the message which you wish to save as template Messages. You can also insert the User's field and the contacts' field for sending personalized messages. After entering the message click on "Save template".
Step 4: Once you have successfully created your template you can able to view them under the drop-down which can be used for sending it to your customers.
How to share Karix Credentials with other Hubspot users?
Step 1: Go to any of the Hubspot contacts. Click the "Send Message" option on the right panel under the "Send Karix Message" option. --> Click the profile picture --> Click "Manage App users". If you are a Hubspot admin you can share your Karix credentials with your Hubspot users so that they can use your Karix account for sending messages.
On the admin system:
You can add the Hubspot users who can use your Karix account for sending messages.
You can able to view the list of all Hubspot users and you can add them using the "Add" button.
On the user system:
The user while re-authorizing the Karix account, they can either use the account shared by their admin or else they can use their own account for sending messages. To configure their own account click on the "Use another account" option.
