Initiate WhatsApp Conversations with Salesforce Customers
About
Easily connect with your Salesforce contacts through WhatsApp Web and initiate conversations in a few clicks.
Pre-requisites
Must be a Salesforce user.
Must have WhatsApp Web open.
Install the AppCursor Chrome extension.
Installation
Install the AppCursor Chrome extension.
Install the Click to Chat app from the Salesforce Marketplace.
Sign in to Ulgebra using your Salesforce account email id.
We now have to authorize our Salesforce account.
Click on 'Authorize Now'.
Click on 'Allow' to authorize your Salesforce account.
We can now view the icon of Click to Chat within our Salesforce account.
Applications
Initiate Conversation
Go to any Salesforce contact.
Click on the app icon with the contact.
The contact number of the recipient would be fetched automatically.
In case you wish to add multiple contacts, click on 'Add Recipients'.
Here you can add the desired contacts using Salesforce lists using the 'Select a List' option.
Search for an existing contact within the Salesforce module.
You can also import required contacts from Excel sheets.
Also, select the country code, enter the contact number and add the required contact number.
Enter a default country code and select the condition for the default country code from the drop-down.
Enter the message to be sent or insert a message template.
Insert the contact fields as required.
Click on 'Send WhatsApp'.
Click on 'Click to Send WhatsApp'.
You would now be redirected to WhatsApp Web.
You can now send the message from WhatsApp Web.
Message from List View
Access any of the modules within Salesforce.
Select the required contacts from the list view.
Click on the app icon.
The contact numbers of the selected Salesforce contacts would be added as recipients.
In order to include additional contacts, click on 'Add Recipients'.
Select the required contact from a list, search for an existing contact or import contacts from an Excel file.
Also, add individual contact numbers.
Enter the message or insert a template.
Click on 'Send WhatsApp'.
You can now view the list of WhatsApp messages to be sent.
Adjacent to each message, select 'Click to Send WhatsApp' to be redirected to WhatsApp Web.
You can now send the message from WhatsApp Web.
Message History
Access the Activity section within any Salesforce contact.
Here you can view the details of each message sent through WhatsApp Web.
Message Templates
Click on the Templates drop-down within the application to access the message templates.
Select and insert the required template to be sent.
Create Template
Click on '+ Add New Template'.
Enter the name of the template.
Enter the content within the template.
Save the message template.
Edit Template
Click on the edit icon beside the name of the template.
Make the required changes.
Save the edited message template.
